Melanie calls herself a true Miami mix—her father is Chinese Jamaican, and her mother is from Boston of French and Scottish descent—so she says she doesn't fit in any one box when it comes to heritage, ethnicity or culture. "I never know what to check when people ask me what race or ethnicity I am or where I am from, I'm just me." As a member of the DEIB Partner Committee, Melanie's goal is to continue to help the firm in its diversity efforts and practices and help others succeed in the profession.
