Emily Sample focuses her practice in toxic tort litigation, regularly representing clients in depositions and using her extensive motion practice experience to leverage wins on their behalf.
Emily prioritizes getting to the crux of each dispute as quickly as possible with the understanding that complex disputes often boil down to small details. Clients rely on her careful eye to protect their interests.
Prior to joining MG+M, Emily was an associate at a national Chicago-based law firm. She previously worked at an intellectual property litigation boutique, where her understanding of and interest in new technologies served her patent clients well. She advised on design patent challenges of a Fortune 500 company’s portfolio as well as on disputes with US Customs for trademark and gray good enforcement regarding imports.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys local restaurants, paddle boarding, cross-stitching embroidery, fantasy football and baking.
