Kenneth Costa is a partner with MG+M, based out of the firm's Providence office. He is a member of the multi-state Complex Litigation Group, with a primary focus on insurance defense, products liability, employment litigation, real estate litigation, and asbestos and toxic tort related matters throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Ken has successfully defended a wide array of clients both regionally and nationally, representing product manufacturers, contractors and corporations through all phases of litigation in both federal and state courts. Additionally, he has appeared on behalf of clients before both state and federal regulatory agencies. With over a decade of litigation experience, Ken has effectively advocated for and obtained numerous dispositive motions on behalf of corporate defendants, ranging from locally owned small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to joining MG+M, Ken was an associate at a Boston litigation firm representing a wide variety of clientele in the complex toxic tort arena, where he was involved with the daily oversight and management of complex toxic tort lawsuits throughout the Northeast.
Ken received his law degree from Roger Williams School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island, in 2005, where he was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College in 2001, where he majored in biology.
Ken is admitted to practice in five states, including Rhode Island (2007), Connecticut (2006), Massachusetts (2008), Pennsylvania (2011) and New York (2014), as well as the US District Courts of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
