Megha Rana focuses her practice on toxic tort litigation and products liability claims. Her emphasis is defending industry leaders against asbestos claims. Megha has experience defending clients at depositions and through motion practice.
Prior to joining MG+M, Megha interned for the American Medical Association with the Office of the General Counsel and the Science, Medicine and Public Health Group. There she worked on a range of matters dealing with contracts, intellectual property, international law and litigation. She also was a fellow of the Jaharis Health Law Institute (JHLI) at DePaul University and served on the JHLI student advisory board as the director of outreach and recruitment.
Megha provides value to her clients through her emphasis on health science studies. She has a deep understanding of human physiology and how interconnected human health is with an individual's environment. Using this background to support her clients, she is able to mount sophisticated legal arguments while connecting with clients, experts and industry leaders at their comfort level.
During law school, Megha was vice president of the DePaul Women’s Bar Association. She was also a teaching assistant for a first-year applied legal skills course.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling internationally, exploring her local community, and supporting the Cubs and Blackhawks.
