Missy Leon handles civil litigation in Texas and California state courts and in federal district courts. Her practice is focused on commercial litigation, professional liability litigation and personal injury defense litigation.
Missy has represented clients in commercial litigation involving breach of contract, fraud, the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, defamation and tortious interference claims. She has served as a client liaison to Fortune 500 companies, managing multimillion-dollar litigation. Her experience in professional liability litigation includes legal and medical malpractice matters and director and officer liability cases involving negligence and breach of fiduciary duty claims. She has also defended clients and managed local counsel in toxic tort litigation.
In personal injury matters, Missy’s varied range of experience includes catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, toxic tort cases, and defense of product liability, negligence and premises liability claims. She has defended Fortune 500 companies, major retailers, oil and gas companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers and pharmacies, automotive supply manufacturers, amusement parks and ice-skating rinks, gyms, and apartment complexes, among other clients.
Missy joined MG+M from an AmLaw 200 defense litigation firm. Previously, she was a partner at a mid-sized firm in Dallas, where she handled a variety of civil litigation matters.
