Overview

Misti Mosteller defends premises owners, product and equipment manufacturers, and employers in toxic tort, products liability and catastrophic injury litigation. For more than 20 years, she has served as trial counsel for Fortune 500 companies and managed litigation across Texas, Oklahoma and Michigan. She has also served as national and local counsel for Fortune 100 companies, managing multi-plaintiff dockets in multimillion-dollar cases. Misti has obtained defense verdicts for Fortune 500 companies, obtained dismissals in contested cases, and successfully argued summary judgments in product and premises liability cases. In addition to her success in court, Misti is a certified mediator. She has written and taught numerous CLE courses.

In the product liability space, Misti serves as national counsel in cases involving complex medical and scientific issues. She has extensive experience developing defenses, overseeing multi-plaintiff cases in multiple jurisdictions and negotiating settlements. Misti has successfully defended cases throughout United States, including in Michigan, Oklahoma and Texas. She has represented product manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, premises owners and employers in lawsuits filed across the country involving allegations of wrongful death or serious injury.

In personal injury matters, Misti represents clients in a variety of contexts with a focus on catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. She has particular experience in such matters where questions of medical and substantial causation are at issue. 

Misti joined MG+M from an AmLaw 200 defense litigation firm, where she focused her practice on matters related to asbestos, talc and other toxic torts; complex tort and general casualty; and product liability, prevention and government compliance. She also has prior experience working in family law, employment law and insurance defense litigation.
