Overview

Robert Creighton focuses his practice on toxic tort, products liability, personal injury, and education law. 

Robert has experience representing local, national, and multinational clients in all phases of simple and complex litigation in several jurisdictions. He enjoys utilizing this experience as a key member of the national trial team for a major product manufacturer.  

When not in the courtroom, Robert takes and defends depositions of essential fact and expert witnesses throughout the country. Robert has also obtained favorable results for injured parties in both state and federal court. This includes a negotiated settlement in a civil rights case for an indigent individual in federal court. 

Prior to joining the firm, Robert was an Assistant State’s Attorney in Jefferson County, Illinois. Prosecuting the felony drug docket gained him significant first chair jury and bench trial experience, including numerous convictions.  While in law school, Robert was a member of the Moot Court Board, served as an Associate Editor and Chief of the Journal of Legal Medicine, and was inducted into the 2010 National Order of Barristers. 

A St. Clair County native, Robert currently resides in Belleville, Illinois. Robert is licensed to practice law in Illinois, New Jersey, and New York. Robert is also licensed in to practice in the United States District Court – Southern District of Illinois.
