Stephanie Batchelder is a partner at MG+M’s Boston and Providence offices. As a member of the firm's Complex Litigation Practice, she focuses her practice on products liability, toxic torts litigation and talc litigation. Stephanie has extensive experience overseeing and managing nationally recognized companies, both as local counsel and national coordinating counsel. Her experience includes the representation of members of the cosmetic talc and industrial talc industry on both a national and local level. She is involved with all phases of litigation, including discovery and depositions, dispositive and pre-trial motions, and trial preparation.

Stephanie is results-oriented, ensuring that the client’s needs are met at optimal value. To that end she is particularly effective at coordinating defense strategies on a local and national level, identifying cases for strategic settlement or dismissal, and initiating investigations and crafting effective cross-examinations for use at depositions in an effort to limit exposure and drive down value of plaintiffs’ cases.

In addition to her regular work schedule, Stephanie is a contributor to MG+M’s blog, The Defense Litigation Insider, where she has discussed the impact of personal jurisdiction in product liability matters, amongst other issues. Stephanie is actively involved with MG+M’s Women’s Forum, serving as co-chair for the Boston and Providence offices. She is also a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, and is currently the Chair of the organization’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Section.

Stephanie resides in Stoughton, Massachusetts with her husband and two sons.
