Daniel Rousseau was born and raised in the St. Louis area. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BA degree in Communications in 2003, and received his JD degree from Southern Illinois University in 2006.
Daniel serves in multiple practice areas with an emphasis on toxic tort liability. He handles cases locally in Madison and St. Clair County, Illinois, as well as cases throughout the state of Missouri. Daniel works as local counsel for several large corporations, and also serves as national coordinating counsel for a major product manufacturer and assists in all phases of litigation from inception through trial. In addition to toxic tort liability, Daniel works as a city attorney for a local municipality, conducts investigations and product liability matters. Daniel has helped his clients achieve favorable outcomes for product manufacturers, corporations and local governments. Daniel is licensed in the State of Illinois and the State of Missouri. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Missouri Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, St. Clair County Bar Association and is the current president of the Lawyers Association of St. Louis.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel worked for the St. Louis City Public Defender’s Trial Division. While there he represented defendants charged fraud, theft, robbery and sexual assaults. As part of his representation, he would conduct interviews and depositions with potential witnesses and craft an investigation based upon the facts of the case. During his eight years with the Public Defender, he valuable trial experience in the City of St. Louis handling some of the most serious and complex criminal cases in the city. Daniel sat first chair in over 55 jury trials, including 15 trials for sexual assault matters and 4 trials for murder in the first degree.
Daniel resides in St. Louis with his daughter.
