Overview

Lindsay Weiss represents companies of all sizes through every stage of civil litigation, including discovery and depositions, dispositive and pre-trial motions, and trial. She focuses her practice on products liability, toxic tort, employment and general liability matters. Her clients span a broad range of industries, and she serves as national coordinating counsel for various nationally recognized companies in asbestos and talcum powder litigation. She has extensive experience representing cosmetic companies through all stages of talcum powder litigation, from their first involvement in the litigation through discovery, experts and trials.

Lindsay is a member of MG+M's national trial team and is certified by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. She has been successful in obtaining favorable results for her clients through various dispositive motions at the pre-trial phase and at trial, has tried cases throughout California and in other difficult jurisdictions in the United States, and has obtained defense verdicts in those high-risk jurisdictions for her clients.

Experience

  • Secured a unanimous defense verdict for a talc-powder product manufacturer in the first cosmetic talc trial to proceed to verdict in Chicago. This case marks the second unanimous talc trial defense verdict for both the company and MG+M.
  • Secured a unanimous defense verdict for a talc-powder product manufacturer in the first cosmetic talc trial to proceed to verdict in Portland, Oregon.
