Overview

Michael Robertson defends clients in professional liability matters, primarily pertaining to large-scale international construction matters—including corporate campuses, power plants, and highway and rail transit projects—as well as providing claims management and monitoring counsel services. Michael assists his clients with evaluating claim issues, risks and potential exposure through all stages of project development and through dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration. Michael reviews, edits and negotiates project contracts for design professoinal clients. He also conducts regular risk management workshops for design professionals. 

Previously, Michael was an associate mediator with Resolutions, LLC, where his practice included mediations in all practice areas, including construction litigation. Michael has extensive knowledge of negotiation theory and strategy, and the ADR field in general. Michael also represented sub-contractors as an associate at the law firm of Corwin & Corwin.
